For TEUPEN, bauma 2016 in Munich marks an important milestone on this quest. We are happy to present five new models within our LEO Series to you that will once again set a new industry standard in performance and technological progress.
Furthermore we have thought about another area in aerial access. Again we doubted the accepted boundaries of technical feasibility and are proud to present to you the new “PUMA Series” which will renew your understanding when we say “…access redefined”.
In cooperation with Swiss excavator manufacturer Menzi Muck, TEUPEN has successfully developed a new class of aerial equipment: The PUMA Series. With the world premiere of the PUMA42GTX at bauma 2016 in Munich we present a unique combination of high-tech walking excavator chassis with an aerial lift.
The new PUMA42GTX is a class of its own in many ways: It offers extreme gradeability on the way to jobsites in every kind of terrain. Even in slope angles of up to 17° the new lift finds a safe working position to reach working heights of 42,70 metres with a maximum platform capacity of up to 400 kg. In rough terrain the PUMA42GTX can reach driving speeds up to 10 kph using its powerful 157 hp Deutz Diesel engine.
With its 430 litre fuel tank capacity even lengthy jobs far from resupply are possible. Due to its compact measurements, a low total weight of 17,6 t and an ideal outreach performance (max. horizontal outreach of 16.7 m at 300 kg platform capacity), the PUMA42GTX presents itself as a new benchmark in the height access industry.
